24:13. গাদ দায়ূদের কাছে এসে বলল, “তিনটি বিষযের মধ্যে থেকে একটা বেছে নাও:1. তোমার রাজ্যে সাত বছরের দুর্ভিক্ষ|2. তোমার শত্রুরা তিন মাস ধরে তোমায় তাড়া করবে|3. তোমার দেশে তিন দিনের মহামারী আসবে|এ বিষযে চিন্তা করে, তিনটের মধ্যে একটা বিষয বেছে নাও| তোমার কোনটা পছন্দ হল সে সম্পর্কে আমি প্রভুকে বলব| প্রভু আমাকে তোমার কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন|”

24:13. Gad went to David and told him, "Shall seven years of famine come upon your land? Or shall you flee for three months from your enemy with him in hot pursuit? Or shall there be three days of plague in your land? Now decide what I should tell the one who sent me."
